YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
THE WHAT
You operate filament winding machines to manufacture our high-pressure composite tanks. You ensure components are produced to specification, processes remain stable, and our high quality standards are consistently met.
You operate filament winding machines to manufacture our high-pressure composite tanks. You ensure components are produced to specification, processes remain stable, and our high quality standards are consistently met.
You take ownership of machine operation, process monitoring, and the quality of the components you produce – from preparation through post-processing.
THE WHY
Performance is built in the process, not just in the design. A stable and controlled winding process is essential for producing high-quality and reliable components. Through your work, you directly contribute to manufacturing COPVs that are safe, reliable, and ready for use in spaceflight.

YOUR IMPACT
You don't just operate machines. You make sure precise processes result in reliable, flight-ready components.
You don't just operate machines. You make sure precise processes result in reliable, flight-ready components.
You ensure:
- Filament winding processes remain stable and run according to specification
- Components are properly inspected and only defect-free parts are passed on
- Deviations are identified early, documented, and communicated
Your tasks in detail and by priority
Operate filament winding machines and monitor relevant process parameters. Perform pre- and post-processing tasks such as vacuum bagging, curing preparation and unpacking.
→ High Performance: Work precisely and ensure consistently high manufacturing quality
Inspect components during and after production. Never pass on defective or uninspected parts. Report process deviations immediately and consistently follow work instructions, maintain accurate documentation and keep the workplace organized.
→ Accountability: Take ownership of every part you produce
Work closely with QA and cross-functional teams. Communicate issues and deviations openly and early and contribute your own ideas for process improvements.
→ Togetherness: Work reliably and seamlessly as part of the team
→ Candor: Speak up immediately when something is wrong
→ Playfulness: Identify improvement opportunities and actively help develop our processes
